Rubber-curb (deep board)
Item number: 2596
The rubber kerbstone, also known as low board, is used to border areas and paths laid out with rubber granulate slabs or composite paving on an unbound base layer, to delimit them from the surroundings and to prevent slabs or pavement from drifting apart. In beach volleyball, the elastic low board forms the edge of the playing field in the sand.
Similar to rubber granulate panels, the elastic low board feels comfortable, dampens vibrations and offers fall protection. It is permeable to water and open to diffusion over a large area.
As a rule, the rubber curb is installed on a level with the delimited area in a concrete foundation with a back support. Only the upper part of the rubber curb is ultimately visible. Square or curved lines can be implemented.
Info:
The fall protection plaster is the reliable problem solver for using intensively used areas, including those with vehicles, as a safer and attractive play area. Because the fall protection plaster is stable enough to carry cars and light trucks, as well as high heels, but still offers usable fall protection and dampens vibrations and noise. Furthermore
material
The rubber granulate, irregularly shaped rubber particles, is obtained from discarded tires. For the most part, it consists of a high-quality mixture of natural rubber (NR) and synthetically produced styrene-butadiene rubber, or SBR for short. The material properties of the WARCO molded part largely correspond to those of SBR. Granules with an edge length of 1.0 to 3.0 mm produce fine-grained surfaces.
